Neymar, Barcelona Agree on New Contract: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

Barcelona superstar Neymar has agreed a new five-year contract with the Camp Nou club that will tie him to the Catalan giants until 2021.

Barca announced the news on Monday, reporting that he will sign the deal on Friday, via their Twitter feed

:In July the Blaugrana announced an extended contract for the Brazilian forward and explained that his release clause was fixed at €200 million (£181.1 million) for the first year of the deal, a figure that will rise to €222 million (£200.9 million) for the second and €250 million (£226.2 million) for the remaining three years. 

However, per ESPN.co.uk's Samuel Marsden, Neymar never put pen to paper on the new terms, a situation that will be rectified on Friday.
